Lost Starship pt. II

When we had left our valiant Maddox, he was just rescuing his partner Riker from the prison world. There he picked up Meta a massive person who had been born on a two g world, and a crazy computer scientist named Doctor.

This week I finished the lost starship, it is such a cool book. The futuristic aspect of it and all of the starship battles are really cool, like the descriptions were okay, but I could picture everything in my mid and the incredible battles going on. It was basically like Star Wars, but the thing that bothered me was the entire plot f the book was getting the alien super-ship back to earth to help in the fight against the invading super men.

Slice of Life

I always like the holiday walk, however this year was the best. My group was cool last year, but this year I felt like I was closer with all of the people in the group. We also did a lot of fun things, The most fun thing we did was going to eat in Maggianos, the people at first looked at us quite weirdly, but then they just went along with it. We got a really nice waiter named Cole and he did not seem perturbed by the fact that a bunch of middle schoolers had walked into the restaurant.

I ordered Bruschetta and me and Simmon shared a shrimp pasta thingy and it was really good, because Adian Glennie was in our group he made us take a whole bunch of pictures. We did not get dessert as we had spent most of our money on the meal, but it was, in the end, worth it. I did not really realize that this was my last Holiday walk, it just does not feel like it is. I am happy though that, that was my last holiday walk as many memorable things happened.

Lost Starship by Vaughn Heppner

This book is incredibly cool, I am only half way through the book. I am not sure if this is a series but according to other titles by this author it seems like it is. The plot of the book is as follows, there is a man last named Maddox, captain Maddox, and he is like a detective for the Space Watch. Set three hundred years from now Humans have colonized other galaxies using wormholes, like in interstellar. In all of the colonization not one spices of aliens had been found, until now when the New Men have begun invading planets. These stronger better faster beings are completely decimating entire battle groups, and it is up to Captain Maddox to save the human race. He has to find an alien ship, that no one can enter, that could possibly save the world.

I LOVE THIS BOOK, it is like a better version of star wars with the battle scenes of Lord of the Rings, so read the book and you will love it. There is a little swearing and mature content but not that bad.

Slice of Life

I think that there are many things that are unfair, I think that it is unfair that people say bad things against the United States. People have died to make sure that people can say and do what they want in our pretty awesome country. I am not saying that you can not protest things and disagree with politicians, but people in other countries have died trying to do what we do easily. I think that some people just forget about how lucky we are, the fact that we can disagree with the politicians without wondering if our family is going to get kidnapped is amazing.

It is unfair who much me as a people take for granted, not just the fact that we are free, but even the most simple things. Like being able to get up and get a drink of water, would be a luxury in certain parts of the world. Even having a secure home and a roof over my head, some people in America can not even say that.

Martian

This was one of the greatest/funniest books I have ever read, I would just like to thank Kam for recommending this book to me as I enjoyed it. I read the entire book in one day, and at 400 pages this was some feat. The author researched every thing so all of everything is on point and the entire idea is not really that far fetched and completely science fiction like Star Wars. The Plot is basically Watney gets marooned on Mars after his crew leaves him on accident, he has to survive for almost two years with hardly any supplies on Mars until his crew can sling shot around the earth and pick him back up.

Watney is funning and cunning and just a brilliant problem solver which is part of the reason he survived as long. I think that he reminds me of the type of person I would like to be, funny and smart and a problem solver. The book has a lot of curse words as well as inappropriate jokes and references that you should be aware of. Other than that it was an incredible book and I think everyone should read it, before it comes out in November of next year as a movie, with Matt Demon.
